#3 Book(mapping: an illustrated guide)

Today I go to the national library of Scotland to read a book called Mapping: an illustrated guide to graphic navigational systems. This book is divided into five parts.

  1. introduction
  2. representation and space
  3. inhabitable space
  4. information and space
  5. time and space
I quite like the structure of introduction. Seven questions consist of the introduction which really inspire me. I think the Rhodes reason and phase of the moon 2000 are very interesting.
  • What is a map?
  • What can be mapped?
  • Why make maps?
  • Why use maps?
  • Are maps true?
  • How do maps work?
  • Where and when are maps?
