#8 charity shops survey 2014

“The Salvation Army has the largest collection of clothing banks in Britain, but it has a contract with Kettering Textiles to collect and recycle these goods”.

According to the charity shops survey 2014,” RAG PRICE(level of rag price) and stock(shortage of donated stock, poor quality of donated stock and competition for donated stock) are the dominant themes”.

“Despite facing criticism from retailers who complain their shops blight the high street, charities are relatively unconcerned about reputation. Negative attitudes from the public and other retailers appears almost at the bottom of the list.”
